phones we have lured. Below is a small recommendation about which 5 phones
topped the list this year.
1. Samsung Galaxy S3
Shall we say it to be "Phone of the Year? Yes, why not,
the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been the best Android smartphone in 2012 and it even
gave a tough competition to Apple's iPhone 5. Fueled by Li-Ion 2100 mAh
battery, available in colors options of Pebble blue, Marble white, Amber brown,
Garnet red, Sapphire black, Titanium grey and La Fleur, the phone is powered by
one of the best processor - quad-core Exynos, and sports a 4.8-inch HD Super
AMOLED screen. It is mounted with 8MP camera, autofocus, LED flash, and runs on
Android v4.0.4 OS, upgradable to 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).
2. Google Nexus 4
Google Nexus 4 by LG has been combined with suitable price
and chilled virtue that have ever been seen since the Nexus One made by HTC.
Its hardware impressed everyone with stunning 4.7-inch 720 IPS Screen, adding
new features of Android 4.2. It is powered by quad-core Snapdragon processor to
ensure excellent performance. Its battery gives good standby though it is
lacking of removable storage. As a whole the device look attractive at low
price.
3. HTC One X
This is the phone we liked but not really loved it. However,
the modified HTC one X+ later captured the market. Well, the One X comes with
rich matte black body in red accents adding edge. The phone feels richer. It
has 1GB of RAM with upgraded quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and has been
able to complete everyday work. Its battery gives standby period from morning
till late night. It sports a 4.7-inch super LCD 2 display and is mounted with
8-megapixel rear camera overlayed with HTC Sense.
4. Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Samsung announced later this year successor of its super hit
phablet - the Galaxy Note 2. No doubt this device is big with quad-core
processor, but it has brilliant gaming performance for teenager. It sports
5.5-inch Super AMOLDED screen that makes it perfect for watch movies. It runs
on Android's Jelly Bean OS. This device is not for everyone, if someone need
S-Pen then it is for them..
5. Sony Xperia S
When trend is for quad-core, Sony comes out with a Dual-core
flagship - the Sony Xperia S. Its architect with high density pixel screen
captured the global market. Its design is bold enough to boast both style and
substance. It is equipped with 12-megapixel compact camera, but mounted with
weaker flash and this makes the Xperia S a bad choice for many photo
enthusiasts. Xperia S was upgraded to Android 4.0 earlier and later updated to
Jelly Bean, promptly after Google announced the source code.
